Corrections Policy

This Corrections Policy explains how Fesco Check Bill reviews and corrects factual errors in its independent electricity-bill guidance.

Fesco Check Bill is an independent informational website. It is not FESCO, PITC, WAPDA or a government website, and it is not officially affiliated with any of those organizations.

Reviewing possible errors

When a possible factual error is identified, we review the wording, the source or live service involved and any reliable primary information available. We distinguish a factual error from a difference in style, a temporary external-service problem or information that was accurate when published but later changed.

Making corrections

Material factual corrections should be made promptly after the issue is verified. The site does not silently preserve a claim known to be false. Where WordPress and the active template support accurate modification information, an updated page should retain that information rather than display an invented review date.

Minor grammar, spelling, formatting or style edits that do not change meaning may be made without a correction note. Substantive changes may be explained in the page when that context would help readers understand what changed.

How corrections are identified

The website does not currently publish a genuine owner contact email or public contact form. We therefore do not provide an invented reporting address or use FESCO customer-service numbers as a website-owner contact route. Until a verified public contact method is published, corrections are identified through routine editorial review and checks of relevant public or official sources.
